When you buy a loan part on AC, is it available straight away to sell on SM?
Not quite liking the fact you have to wait for an unknown amount of time before you can sell the loan on FS.
Need a more liquid platform

Need a more liquid platform yes. As its all prefunded by QAA/underwriters it tradeable immediately. Quick tip... if you are looking to sell out of a loan entirely always list a little more than you hold so it dumps any nano pence you cant see ie dp from 21-40 On FS the unknown time is predrawdown so while the cash is tied up, its not at risk as its sat in the client account but earning interest

Thanks for those tips!
My only concern is that if I want my cash quickly, I cannot access it

Thanks for those tips! My only concern is that if I want my cash quickly, I cannot access it Given your fairly extreme aversion to risk, are you sure that P2P lending is well suited to you? Flipping property loans to Autobiddies before term on FC was always too good to last (although I gave it up along time ago when the cashback stopped ). I very much doubt you're going to find a close equivalent elsewhere.

For the next 6 months or so, with my £££ invested in FC property loans...before they need to be flipped..I am in
After that, not too sure..as I will be looking to use the cash outside of p2p.
In the meantime I need somewhere to park the extra cash to maximise return....hopefully between FS and AC i can do that with limited risk

My only concern is that if I want my cash quickly, I cannot access it number5: There aren't any guarantees that SMs will provide the liquidity you want when you want it. If you try to sell when nobody is buying, or if you happen to be in a loan that has a problem and trading is suspended, your money will remain tied up. As a result, you need to ask yourself how awkward it would be for you if you couldn't get your money back quickly. Based on your answer, P2P investing may or may not be for you.

I understand where you are coming from, however the investements I am making currently outside of FC is excess cash.
The more signiifcant amount sits in FC, which has a lot more liquidity that should not cause too much trouble to get access too I would think.
Obviously generally SM doesn't guarantee liquidity, but I'd like to think if it is just a geniune exit (not a bad loan etc) it should be accessible in a reasonable time.
