Yes exemplary communications, really second to none all seems to be in order, but it's only been a few months

I looked at them several months ago as a diversifier to my holdings in the House crowd. They do something very similar. Housecrowd is based in Manchester, although now moving wider, whereas crowd2let are based in Newcastle. Some other differences are that you get 5% on deposited funds in crowd2let. Housecrowd gives a call when they are ready for funds and tends to act one property after the other. Expenses are also dealt in a different way and Housecrowd lets you choose between income only, and income and 50% capital gain.
Can't see much wrong with them. My only point in hesitation was house price increases in Newcastle seemed low at the time - maybe that is now changing.

Anyone got any more up-to-date (or more detailed) experience of this platform? I'm a steady investor. The proof of the pudding is of course when a property sells (the idea is buy to let with a forecast sales date 5 years hence) and we haven't got there yet. All the properties so far are in the North East (NE, DH,SR postcodes). I think it's a sort of secondary activity done by an estate agent and property management company The quality of the communication (meaning I think the boss's writing) is an absolute pleasure to read. You now get "instant rent" from the moment you invest, which makes sense. Investments are from £500 up.

Thanks. I see they don't have a problem with single entities owning more than 50% of an SPV -- wonder how much of an issue that could be when it comes to sale time. I haven't looked at the articles in any of the SPVs but my understanding is that someone with such a holding has the potential to try and have things done their way?
I can't seem to get details of any of the fully funded properties from the earlier days of the platform -- does anyone know when the first sale process meant to be starting?
I agree the 'instant rent' (incentive/cashback) is good. Slightly frustrating they require 2 forms of ID before you can invest anything beyond 2k.

Bumping this since its the only thread here about this site...
Anyone have any experience lending to these guys? They are looking to borrow £50k for a dev project but the structure appears a bit vague to me. Not least which entity is spending the money

There is unfortauntely (another) facebook group to join, administration seems all-but guaranteed www.facebook.com/groups/2143133666069539Many SPVs have been left directorless, some have active compulsory strike off notices (address-based issues). July payment not made
