My name is Jordan and I am a Marketing Executive here at businessagent.com. At Businessagent.com we are creating the alternative finance marketplace where we show all of the equity crowdfunding and P2P platforms in one place. We are currently working on gathering data to create graphs to display statistics from the major P2P platforms. Funding Circle are one of the first companies we have added to this graph. All of the statistics that are shown on the graph have been gathered directly from the platforms websites. Here is the link - businessagent.com/p2p-stats. Please feel free to give suggestions as to any other useful data you would like to see or any improvements you think we should make to this page.

There is a legend if you move your mouse on the graph near a data point. But yes presentation leaves a lot to be desired 2/10 for effort. It should have an obvious clear legend visible without having to randomly move your mouse around until it finds a tooltip. Also appropriate numbers, units and labels on the axes so it is clear what the numbers are rather than having to count the number of trailing (or leading) zeros. £800M is clear 800000000 is not.

Hi, Each of the data points in the graph display information upon hover as you can see the from the screenshot attached. However, having a legend would be make this much clearer for the user. Thank you for your suggestion.

The legend should now be live and make it much clearer to identify each companies data. Thank you pointing out the numbering and units, I totally agree. We will change this right away.

I see a lot of cost (except, of course, the exec board members who don't for some reason warrant a mention).
I don't see any revenue.

I like the format, and it looks like a potentially useful/interesting tool. A few things:
1) I'd find it erring more towards useful than just interesting if more current data could be extrapolated. Is there any way 2017 month-to-date data can be included to give us the very latest trends?
2) At first I wasn't sure whether the graph covered all of 2016 or just up to Jan 1st 2016. As they're only annual data points it kinda looks like the last column is the data reflecting the course of 2015 whilst what it actually is just summations of annual performance.
3)The other effect of the annual data points is that you could incorrectly infer, for example, a general degradation of the annual return of Ratesetter throughout the most recent year, whilst actually it was probably up and down throughout and this is just how the lack of data points makes it look. So, again I guess, can there be more data points?

I think you need to give (maybe on a different page) how each portal does their calculation. You might also need to identify when each portal made major changes to its policy. New T&Cs for instance. The FC now is a very different company than in the past for example.
The photos of the staff need to be redone, quiet a few are on the "android" side of the human race and a better photo would remove the slight unease the photos offer. ;-)

Hi,
I'm another one of the androids from BusinessAgent.com!
This is a great point and exactly the kind of thing we need to be highlighting, if you think of anything else like that, please let us know.
We're currently analysing the data that we have collected on the major platforms. We'll be making this analysis available on our site and will update the forum in due course. We're looking to provide tools to make it a lot easier to compare one platform to another and provide an overview of the p2p market as a whole.
