Well done to Lending Crowd for agreeing to close a dormant account I have with them, despite it containing a couple of long-defaulted loan parts still with theoretical scope for a recovery payment (but minimal probability in practice).
I’d suggested that I “gift” these parts so that any recovery that does arise gets donated to charity and, after checking with their lawyer, this has now been agreed.

Can you persuade ReBS and FC to offer the same deal maybe??

Just out of curiosity, why did you close it? It doesn't cost anything to keep it running. I completely withdrew from BM, but didn't close the account. May be I should have done, am I missing something?

Nothing major. It was a company account, so definitively closing it just means I can now close down that ledger and slightly reduce the month-end book-keeping.
