My name is Jordan and I am a Marketing Executive here at businessagent.com. We are currently in the process of populating graphs to display statistics from major peer to peer platforms in the alternative finance industry. Zopa are one of the first companies we have added to this graph. All of the statistics displayed on the graph have been directly collected from each of the P2P lenders websites.
Here is the link - businessagent.com/p2p-stats.
Please feel free to give suggestions as to any other useful data you would like to see or any improvements you think we should make to this page.

Hi Jordan, Just had a quick flick through, not sure the graphs are real indicators but that's me as I never really take that kind of information as an indicator moving forward. I did have a look at some other areas and was a little perturbed about the returns info list. I'm not really that familiar with anything other than Zopa but I'm guessing things are similar for other P2P lenders. I would expect a site that is trying to provide useful information. I selected an investor loan of 10000 over 5 years and found that whilst these loans will probably be relent it's not clear that the interest received is dependant on the £10000 being relent continuously. If I lend into zopa say and have relend turned on then this will be the case but if I don't then the true rate is really only slightly higher than 50% of the quoted value. This due to the borrower paying more interest in the first year thatn in the last year as capital is returned to the lender. I did look at the graphs of returns, defaults etc and I could not see any statements that say previous results are no indicator of future results. Some lenders have been harder hit this year on zopa than others but its clear that defaults have increased markedly for many investors more recently and even Zopa has admitted it may have got the mix levels in plus wrong.

It should also be noted that Zopa, as well as FC, no longer have a Provision Fund.
