Just wondering how long it takes for a typical loan to be renewed/closed and for interest to be payed? thank you.

It should be 6 months, but this is fundingsecure. Therefore expectations needed to be lowered to 6 years.

Just wondering how long it takes for a typical loan to be renewed/closed and for interest to be payed? thank you. For renewals it typically happens within a couple of days of the loan end and this is when the interest is paid.

How long after the loan 'end date' would you normally expect to hear something? I understand not to expect prompt payment in all cases but surely I should get either an email from FS or an update on the loan page.

I've now been with FS for just over 6 months and am starting to see the end of term for some loans (decided not to touch the SM at all).
I've started doing a weekly Live chat and asking FS for an update on all of my overdue loans (5 and counting). I get the same old reply mostly "in discussions with borrower" "loan update will be posted when we know" "blah blah"
Keeps me entertained in work for a bit if nothing else...

I think that I prefer the silence - it saves the time spent reading each weekly update, which says essentially the same thing as the previous week's update.
