This is frankly absolutely ridiculous and a shocking lack of transparency. Of course investors want to know updates on all loans as they affect the health of entire platform.
How can someone choose whether to invest in a loan on the secondary market if you can't see the updates?
It's clearly a decision to try and keep investors in the dark about the worrying state of defaults and issues with loans.

To be fair the Loan book updates under the old system are not due until next Friday 27/10 as they are every 2 weeks

To be fair the Loan book updates under the old system are not due until next Friday 27/10 as they are every 2 weeks Plenty of time then to listen to lender feedback and prepare a comprehensive set of updates - and make them available in a single document so we can scan through. Maybe they could be ordered 'most promising first' then we can all scroll to the bottom and start from there.

Let's leave off Paul (just a bit). He's only doing what his "lords and masters" tell him to; they specify the BS; he is paid to spin it. I reckon he's as pi fed up as we are.

Rumour has it that lenders are referred to as 'the mushrooms' at Lendy Towers.

Won't take me long to trawl through my loans. Yep, I'm now down to only two loans, and VERY low four figures. As a certain Poster often says, "Happy days!!!".

A cryptic reference to a certain gold plated asset (bathroom at least) which will be coming to term on Jan 13th (85 days). There was a great deal of DD carried out on this one at it's inception and I think quite a few involved in that process have kept a 'token' investment and are dying to see how it finally turns out. It would be a shame to miss out on the fun if we cannot see the updates. I will wait and see what happens to the web site next week. If I cannot see the updates for a loan I am not in then I will certainly be buying a penny stake in a few loans that I would like to keep in touch with.

Well if Lendy really are listening and everyone hits them with a complaint regarding the change to updates then they'll quickly reverse it right? Unless they've actually had the majority of registered users already request the change to reduced updates, doubt it somehow. Lendy, if you're hearing grumblings about an aspect of your service and you think it's important to respond positively, engage your userbase and get some wider feedback, analyse it and then publish the finding with your proposed action. Don't just cut off a large section of your userbase from updates they are interested in and certainly don't take a decision to reduce update information to minimise bad news and blame the change on us!

I'd momentarily forgotten about that particular Swiss Cheese. If it's the one I think you mean it was the Loan that got me started on my VR/LTV Crusade!? I also recall what particularly urinated me off irked me was the firm instruction to The Valuer to particularly notify of any, errrrr, "planning issues"!!!!! EDIT: Yep, that's the one, just checked. Strangely there are only low amounts up For Sale on each, and they're actually selling (?!), albeit in two & low three figure amounts, but selling steadily.

I think its a great step forwards!👿 Who wants to know how a platforms loans are doing but those invested? I can't imagine it being of any use to keep telling everyone everything about the loan book regularly. Now to pick up my 10th pint. Hic! Botawoadalollocks @lendy.
