A renewal, admittedly, but offering a loan that is unsecured neatly sidesteps the criticism of incorrect valuation.  Is this the shape of things to come........... Think I will pass on this one |

To be fair this is a loan against a "stars" future earnings that were going to come through in the next few weeks and has just been renewed for another 6 months.

This rich bloke with a very high profile down the pub who had just lost some money making deal but who has a good income from somewhere is desperate to borrow money at 15% and will pay it back honest so no security needed and we don't know his name. Tell me it's a Joke. Please let me know if you are investing in this one so I can borrow some money from you. Will pay it back when I can.

FS = Funding SECURE. I see we have the Funding but I think the Secure got lost somewhere.

One significant difference from the previous two times is that this time the loan got to be 50 days overdue before the borrower came up with the funds to allow the renewal. That's not a good sign. I've invested in earlier versions of this loan, but I won't be investing in this one. It will be interesting to see what proportion of the current investors opt to roll their investment forward, and how long it takes to become fully funded.

Same for me, I invested previously but will give this renewal a miss. What surprises me is the outrage that this is a (well flagged) unsecure loan. The rate of interest is high and if you don't like it don't invest!
