If you sell off current investments in GBBA1 or GEA you can't reinvest in the IFISA at 7%. The GBBA2 only pays 6.25%. I have sold my property loans in the main account and reinvested at the same rate, but will probably put new money in the IFISA (mainly from FC) and draw out the cash as GBBA1 and GEA loans complete. I'll leave manual holdings in the main account until this account is set up within the IFISA.

Not sure if this has already been covered but how is it that my newly opened IFISA QAA already has several suspended loans contained within the list of loans?

Not sure if this has already been covered but how is it that my newly opened IFISA QAA already has several suspended loans contained within the list of loans? This is a property of the QAA; not IFISA-related since it's the same QAA as outside the ISA. The QAA is a fund that holds many loans; some have become suspended (meaning the QAA fund cannot buy/sell those) but when you buy a 'share' of the QAA then you also buy into those suspended loans the QAA bought pre-suspension. But you are able to sell your share of the QAA fund at par, either to itself (normal conditions) or to others. The GBBA on the other hand is different in that each investor into GBBA builds their own portfolio from scratch; which cannot be sold - it can only be liquidated (PF may also be involved). At least, that is my understanding. Maybe someone can correct me if I am wrong.

will i get a notification email when my ifisa transfer in is completed? Another user reported 'no' yesterday. I presume that was the result of input from AC, as it doesn't seem possible that a transfer in actually could have been made already.

I've transfered a part of previous years isa into assetz which was done within 4 days of them receiving the form (isa was from FS). Great speed but it appears to be showing in my account as deducted from my current years allowance. So, this morning (before tranfer was complete) it was showing as 20k allowance remaining (I've already subscribed to another isa so wasn't going to touch this) but now it's showing the amount I've transfered in deducted from the 20k. So if I tranfered 15k in, it's showing as 5k remaining. Shouldn't it still be 20k because the amount coming in was from previous tax years? As long as it wasn't current tax year transfer then yes. So either an error their side or on the transfer form.

I too sent in my form shortly after 19th, but AC sent me an email when they received my form, and another when they received a cheque from the old ISA manager. The cheque should clear early next week. If you haven't heard anything from AC maybe you should contact customer services.

I got the first email on 29/12. I expect the delays are due to the Xmas post and holidays. I probably sent the form 2nd class as a misguided economy.

I'm sure I filled in the form right, I even wrote a few lines in the big white box on the form explaining it was from previous tax years (even though that was for the attention of the current isa manager, AC must have read it) So you need AC to correct this - either it is a one off error with your account or the system isn't quite right (yet).

Absolutely. make sure they get their system right before my transfer arrives!

Sent my ISA transfer form on 19/12 and still no cash arrived at AC. Is this grounds for a complaint? The sending party is Skipton Building Society. I have not heard that they are in trouble.
