Always check the sender first.
Mine from Principality took three weeks over christmas/new year and they sent Assetz a cheque. I think Assetz are doing pretty well here so have a chat with building society first and drop a quick email to assetz just in case it is 'stuck' somewhere.

Sent my ISA transfer form on 19/12 and still no cash arrived at AC. Is this grounds for a complaint? The sending party is Skipton Building Society. I have not heard that they are in trouble. Have you checked if your Skipton account is showing the funds transferred out? If they have been I would c ontact Assetz customer services and ask if they have received the cheque just to be sure it has not got lost in the post.
Mine took just under 3 weeks from posting the form to having the funds credited to my IFISA account. Whilst electronic transfers can be mere days transfers by cheque is a more leisurely process. I was surprised to learn that a lot of the building societies still do transfers by cheque and is completely manual. My previous provider, Coventry Building Society, not only sent a cheque, they took a week to action it and then used 2nd class post. I can not comment on any other platform but it is also worth noting that Assetz do not credit your IFISA account until they have cleared funds - so allow 7 days from date they receive it.

Finally got a letter from Skipton today (dated 23rd) over a month after I sent my transfer form (to Asetz; don't know how long they held on to it). They needed on line confirmation as the account was originally opened on line and they don't have my signature on file to compare against the form. There must be a lot of people in this situation. Edit: Now 31st - 6 weeks after initiating transfer - and still no sign of funds.

My S&S ISA sent a cheque to AC on 15 Jan. Still hasn't cleared though they have at least acknowledged its receipt. Much slower than other transfers - eg a cheque sent to PropLend later than this one (on 16th) cleared a week ago. So it is definitely slow at AC end too.

thanks for the suggestion but that is not a reply to my question! lol No charges for transfers out at present (as cash - loan holdings may not all be saleable ..........) As per AC IFISA T&Cs: 7.3 There is currently no Fee charged for this service, but we reserve the right to do so in future based on the costs related to providing the service. Any future changes will be reflected within an update to these Terms & Conditions as required.
