It is with great regret that I am making another announcement today on behalf of the Forum staff.
Sadly oldnick who was the forum’s 71st member has stepped down from the staff team and will be ‘retiring’ from the forum. Many of you may remember oldnick from the Zopa Forum, he became a founding member and voluntary moderator to help establish this forum when it started out some four years ago.
He has been a stalwart here, and played a major role in keeping the forum going, his continued, input, loyalty and dry sense of humour will be sorely missed by the staff team and his departure a loss to the community as a whole. I hope the rest of you can join with me in giving heartfelt thanks for his extensive service and wishing him well in his retirement.
I am sure you all know, that paul123 also left our ranks a while ago although he continues posting on the forum. Unfortunately an official announcement eluded us due to circumstances at the time, so I hope this can make some amends. paul123 stepped up and volunteered for the role of Moderator some 18 months ago and helped provide cover at a time we were stretched. He was always ready to chip in and provided a fresh perspective and sound input. We would hope that you can join us in extending our thanks to him for his service here, and are pleased to note that he is continuing to contribute to the forum.
We wish them both well in the future.
