I did a live chat with them a few days ago and asked about this loan, this was about the gist: "In discussions with borrower, looks like it will probably renew, will post an update when we have one" As suggested above I'm happy for this one to run also, if it does renew I'll be looking to increase my holding.

You probably won't be able to to because bid limits include your rolled over investment in the loan.... Bid limits usually applicable to vehicle loans, perhaps £50 or £100 at a guess. You guessed it, I want some of the renewal so the less competition the better

I know it's only 50 squids or so limit but nonetheless surprised there's still 2% left @ 17:18?!! I rolled over (in more ways than one!) my investment as I think this one's OK, albeit only 10%.

Yes me too.
But what time zone are you in to make it 19.18?
Think we're all two hours behind you.
Edit - I see you have corrected this already.

It was weird. Firstly website was down. Then there was an info that this loan is rescheduled for 3pm. I logged on at 3:05 and it was already in 'activation tray'. @17.15 I logged on to check something else and it was available, I selected £50 as it was the set limit, but it showed as 'temporary unavailable', then selected £25 and it worked.

The "web site down" posts explain how the disclosure of 3.00pm on the email was in error, and the reality was a 4.00 pm launch as indicated on the site itself. You would have been restricted to £25 if you had decided to rollover an existing £25 investment, otherwise presumably you were fortunate to grab the very last segment. I do not know when the loan filled.

My £25 was definitely not the last segment, I've tried again and the % available was still the same. Also it was strange that this renewal was still available after more than 1 hour, usually they last for about 1 minute.

I remember asking some time ago, see here, but it's possible it has changed recently. I guess it lasted so long because of the confusion over timing following the postponement when the site was down, I grabbed my slice late after catching up with emails etc.

To clarify - where there is a limit it applies to an investor. If they already have a bid (rolled over) that is at or above the limit they cannot add further funds until the restriction is lifted - after 24 hours.
If (as seems to be the case here) the earlier bid is less than the restriction then the investor can add further until the total of all bids reaches the restriction.
This has always been the case with restrictions on FundingSecure - other platforms may handle it differently.
FundingSecure
NOTE: if an investor also has an IFISA account - they are treated entirely separately.

It is also now clear to me why I could get an extra £25 on the top of rollover - I have both, main and IFISA accounts.
