Does anyone know if it is possible to get a figure of the total interest earned to date on AC?

Me neither.
We used to have it. Now we do not (or it is hidden).
That is the price of progress.

Does anyone know if it is possible to get a figure of the total interest earned to date on AC? Get a tax report for each year and add them up?

At the moment the tax report can only be run for last tax period, 2016-2017. The dates or period cannot currently be changed.
Easiest way is to download each individual account transaction statement as an .xls, open in Excel, and total all interest postings within the required period. Only takes a couple of minutes.
Remember to check all accounts, including quick access and cash.

The links at the bottom of the Tax Report page still work for me, so I can get reports for prior years. However, I can't get the report for the current year so far that used to be available, and that's unfortunate. I'm preparing to submit my 2016-17 tax return, and where a loan was declared to be a loss in 2016-17 but already has been recovered partially during 2017-18 I'd rather claim a loss for the net amount in 2016-17 so as to avoid having a big loss in that year and a large lump of 'income' in the following year -- that really plays havoc with any attempts to predict my future tax bills.

What I currently do is I remember how much I originally deposited and subtract this from the total investment amount. Assetz Capital should consider putting an option on the dashboard for total earning to date. I am sure I am not the only person who likes looking at how much their investments have made on a regular basis

I am sure I am not the only person who likes looking at how much their investments have made on a regular basis That's how I do it too, keeping my "net stake" in round thousands for simplicity. However, that approach will stop working if / when AC ever admit that a loan has suffered a definitive loss (triggering PF pay-outs to managed account holders)!

Would that stop the approach from working? Yes, it'd make the "lifetime interest" calculation incorrect - but I suspect that what's really being asked for is "lifetime profit", in which case it'd be desirable for capital losses and/or provision fund payouts to be included in that calculation. And if not, then the suggested calculation is already incomplete, because it'll include any cashback etc. payments that you've received.

Hey Assetz, when are you going to make Tax Statements user date-configurable again? The present offering is ludicrous.

ludicrous / progress. words I swap in and out of my comments depending on the weather. "hey AC, removing the ability to check my interest between specified dates is really progress" sounds much better and less offensive in the world of pc we now live in. we wouldn't want to hurt peoples feelings by using words such as "ludicrous" now would we. imagine the counsellinig fees jo? I will simply use my 23 column, 97 line excel spreadsheet which I timestamp on a daily basis and compare over the 600 copies I have saved. This is really progress...........

I was trying to find a platform that I'm in that doesn't provide such facility but nope, so it's definitely ludicrous.
