Or maybe only defaulting as a last resort and often not defaulting in the best interests of lenders.

I admit I don't know much about that website but having read the article thought it was interesting and agreed with it. If there is an inbuilt bias somewhere, I'd definitely be interested to know (and possibly avoid that site again!)

The writer is not a journalist, he owns Quivera a private capital group which takes money from investors and lends it out on property (See their website), so a direct competitor to P2P property platforms.
