Chris, I did a successful transfer on 12/12 and used the same pre-set transfer details on 15/12 so it must have reached you given the first transfer did. I think the payment has got stuck at Barclays perhaps due to the switch over of accounts?

I think the payment has got stuck at Barclays perhaps due to the switch over of accounts? Have you spoken to the customer support team? Barclays have assured us that there's no way the sort code change could affect existing transactions, giving us a full year to complete the switch over before the old sort code will stop working. Other than the change in sort code there's no other change to the bank account, structure, or coding. The customer support team will advise you but you may need to speak to your bank to ensure the funds actually left their systems and were correctly sent to Barclays.

Chris, thanks yes I have been in constant touch with your support team and they have been very helpful. The missing transfer was found yesterday. It had been misallocated into my Assetz SEEDRS account (i’m a direct investor in Assetz equity).
alls well that end well but I was a tad concerned for a couple of days as both sending and receiving banks tend to assume human error on the part of the customer (me) and hence no obligation on them for the missing money.
