Are most investments deliberately announced at the 12th hour so that they fill even before people had a chance to do due diligence ?
Also, renewals are invarariably announced at the 11th hour (sometimes as late as 9:30 pm at night) for renewals next morning giving people very limited time to DD / decide whether to renew or not.
What would be the issue to give a few days (if not a week's) notice that the borrower intends to renew / repay. The actual renewal can happen later, but at least in doing so lenders can do the DD and click the renewal button in advance.
