I had requested to sell a sum from 8am until 5pm today (after nothing sold yesterday!), and again....0 sold!! Not sure how this system is working, as I have also had large amounts be sold in minutes before. Have you tried selling a different amount? I have a theory that specific loan parts jam up the works on Fragile Computer. If I try to sell £780, Autobid sits there for hours making no progress. If I cancel that and sell a larger or smaller amount it sells within a minute. Try selling £780 again even after a few days rest and it hangs again. On a different account selling £180 causes the same problem. Well the two last different amounts I have tried ranging from 3 figures to 4....sat there doing nothing. Previously I has done 4 figure amounts and it sold in minutes. I will try another number today!

I had one small bite from the SM today, but not enough to stop my unlent funds going over 2%. I'd just put it down to the Christmas slowdown and maybe an influx of ISA cash, but if sellers want to sell and can't that seems a bit odd.

I don't get how the FC autobid works....I have loan parts to sell and clearly there are buyers. Yet nothing, for anyone!

They can, and do, manipulate the flow. For example, if they have a stack of new loans that they want to fill quickly, then they will push the lever to divert new cash in that direction, and the secondary market will slow. It may not seem "fair", but unfortunately you have to take it or leave it.

There don't seem to be new loans either though. I almost always get a £20 part on today's batch when I flip the threshold, rather than SM, and usually within the hour. I think someone forgot to flip a switch when they closed down for Christmas!

That's actually surprisingly reasonable, and quite likely fewer than half the SM offerings will be totally toxic .. but I think I'll wait a bit longer to see what happens to the brave pioneers (defined as 'guys face down on the trail with back full of arrows').

There was a little flurry early last week but since then I have had zero PM and around 3 or 4 small SM. So I'm not putting in any more cash till the market show signs of life. This is through two separate accounts. Am I alone or is FC dead?

I believe that FC will lend the first half of your funds in two working days, 110 loans for me. After that I guess it will slow. The thing to do is to put in more funds than you wish to lend, to make it work harder, and then take them away when you have reached the level you wish. Diversity would be reduced, but loan parts would not exceed 1% of funds, rather than the normal 0.5% of funds. I have not actually gone past 50% lent yet, and so this is an untried suggestion, not good advice.

This is through two separate accounts. Am I alone or is FC dead? I setup 2 new accounts on FC. One started on 15-Dec, matched 201 loans after 7 days, 20 loans from SM and 181 from PM. The 2nd new account was funded on 29th Dec, now it has 136 loans matched, 36 from SM and 100 loans from PM.
