Trying to work out the best way to transfer money between currencies I see some platforms like Mintos do this for a fee - is there a list of the fees and this economical? A quick search for sending foreign currency brought up the following comparison site that seems to give up to date exchange rates. Any other comparison sites?: www.moneysupermarket.com/current-accounts/international-money-transfer/This site gives some alternatives too www.moneysavingexpert.com/banking/foreign-currency-exchangeI have a foreign currency fee free Credit Card and noted that some sites allow credit card payments - anyone tried this and does it get logged as a purchase or a money transfer? Transferwise seems to be suggested frequently

There is also a new user bonus, worth 30 euro to the referrer and referee, if you invest 2k euro or more.

Revolut and midpoint.com for me.
Edit - for foreign currency credit card purchases then Revolut, you get spot* in local currency as a normal purchase (although it would replace your existing CC).
(*one ot two illiquid currencies may be slightly off spot which happens with me for THB but I'm assuming you wouldn't be buying from somewhere too risky).

Hi Stevio,
Strongly suggest Transferwise, Low Frees and fast transfers.
They offer 'Mid Market Rates' unlike the banks...unless your exchange HUGE amounts!!
Been using them almost a Year now, for exchange / transfer to my Thai Bank.
Over the year there fees have dropped & transfers got faster (Normally Next day)
Check it out Mate!
Kind regards,
Robert

I use transferwise for personal spot transactions. And currencyfair for myco. My customers pay EUR into the account and then I choose when to convert. I find you can get better rates then transferwise using their market (not spot), but there is a withdraw charge. If anyone wants a referral for either DM me For myco I might change to Worldfirst. There rates are worse then the above two, but they do forward contracts.
