Just curious. Has anyone tried to withdraw a sum from the newer 'Property Secured Account'? I cant see anything on the AC site that explains how withdrawals from this account are managed.

Cheers. Yes, could see how to request it, just not sure what the outcome would be and didn't want to do it. I was hoping it would be like the other accounts and sell out into the queue (assuming there is one), offering a quick way out (but not one to count on). I wanted to figure out how this worked before investing in it and could not find the info on their site. I'll ask AC Monday if no-one can enlighten me prior. I wanted to ensure it was not an 'until term' type account.

Not currently subscribed to this or any of the other automated investment accounts, thus unable to test, but I'd imagine by either reducing your overall investment target or selling off your individual holdings via the......button would complete the task. Please don't go to the loan page and issue sell orders as this will try to sell any holdings you may or may not have in the MLA not the PSA. You cannot sell out of a specific loan held in any of the automated accounts (GBBA, GEA, PSA, QAA, 30DAY), you can only invest or withdraw using the appropriate buttons on the dashboard for each account. The system decides somehow what to buy into or sell out of on your behalf. I think a system improvement should be logged to mask out the invest and sell buttons on the loan pages when accessed from an automated account loans list chris to stop this confusion as this has come up here a number of times before

I’ve made two withdrawals, I usually instruct late evening and the money has been in my cash account the next morning, I don’t think the request triggers until after midnight, possibly don the algorithms can action many requests in one swoop

Normally very quick eg within a few hours for say 80/90% of the portfolio, however as per most of these type of accounts the last loan or loans to sell can take a bit of time as they are usually less popular ones!

I dabbled in this account to soak up excess funds when there was nothing more I wished to purchase via the MLIA. Some months ago I set the account to withdraw all repayments and interest and this has been happening without any difficulty until today when some 67p interest was paid and 10 mins later two tiny loan parts were bought. What? How is that possible? Give me back my 67p!

I too was curious as to what happened when you tried to withdraw from the PSA, so last night instructed a 15 withdrawal and 24 hours later 2.5 of that has gone into my QAA. Not sure what I make of that but there are screens and screens of transactions to make up the 2.5. Its certainly not instant but I didn't expect it to be. Like others on this board I have minor nervousness about the distribution of loans in these black boxes so am thinking to move money into the 30 day account until the purported new algorithm kicks in

and after another 24 hours the amount withdrawn is up to 13.5k so progressing at a reasonable (if not instant) pace
