There seemed to be a lot of delayed payments related to the Christmas break. Borrowers using it as an excuse to squeeze out some extra days grace and AC staff reduced in Christmas week? Thanks Rick. But I am afraid this is not the reason. Whilst December's payments were particularly low, the shortfall (below 7%) has been getting worse and worse for some months now.

The GEA gave me ballpark 3.5% pa between start of Sept and the end of Nov last year. Very very poor. I'm not at all happy. The only two loans that the system has massively over lent my money too, one in the GBBA, one in Green, are both suspended and earning me nothing. Quelle surprise!

AC black box accounts are not fit for purpose. Only use QAA and 30 day accounts and MLIA

As I have all the figures (AC does like a nice spreadsheet extract), I've worked out my 'all time' earnings from AC, per account. These are (in XIRR): MLIA: 8.58% GEA: 6.66% GBBA: 5.83% Three points though... firstly there are obviously 'uninvested' periods for cash on the platform and whilst the QAA helps here, it will reduce overall return, so 7% on a 7% account is unlikely. Secondly the above does not include any right offs of capital which haven't been indicated as such by AC (currently zero loans have been closed on the books, I expect small drops in MLIA when this happens, hopefully no change to the others due to the PF). Finally, this does not include accrued but not yet paid interest, which is getting close to 2% of my total capital. If I take this and add it to the accounts, I can easily get the 2x PF accounts up to their headline rates. The 'spare' interest would get my MLIA up to over 11% which is nice. I can't be more accurate then this without working out the precise accrued interest per loan and I really can't be bothered to do that. So, if the PF does what it says it should for interest (and AC state they are moving towards this) then ignoring capital I'm happy. If the PF also starts providing capital recovery elements or at least a timeline for them, then I'm very happy.

Just been looking at the holdings in my GBBA1 , the 3 biggest, and disproportionately so, holdings are in 227,389,and 388. Guess what, all suspended !! If I try and sell out of my GBBA1 now then I presume I cannot retrieve all my investment or will the PF cover it and allow withdrawal of the full amount

or will the PF cover it and allow withdrawal of the full amount If there was a prize for optimism then you would win it. Unfortunately, you are stuck with the defaulted loans until they are resolved. PF may pay out something at some point in the future, but don't hold your breath.

Within my investments are loans totalling 200 to the suspended 3. I if hit the withdraw button, what will appear in my cash account ?..has anyone actually sold out of GBBA..surely every holding has defaults ?

You can only cash in your GBBA holdings if there is somebody out there that wants to buy them off you. If you hit the sell button you may get nil cash appear in your account, or you may find everything that's not suspended sells reasonably quickly. I sold out of the GBBA about 6 months ago (circa £2k) and was lucky that only about 70p was (and still is) suspended.

It is a marketing ploy that has never been, errr, deployed. This may change in February when it is rumoured the PF May pay interest on defaulted loans. Oh the joy of RS where the experience is seamless.

Oh the joy of RS where the experience is seamless. That seems a little strong to me, and stands in direct opposition to public AC comments, eg here. I think it's reasonable to be cautious around expectations for the PF, and its absolutely right to be critical of what passes for "diversification" in AC accounts like GBBA, but I don't think saying that there is "no functioning PF" is justified.....

Further scrutiny of loan allocation revealed nearly £400 allocated to 1 borrower in my 30 Day Access account ...in which I hold a few K's..I really didn't expect that..

Looking at what I have in GBBA1, if I hit that button now I will dispose of everything that I wouldn't mind keeping there and will be left with about 40% of my current holdings. It will become 0% account with very poor diversification. Suspended 227, 388 and 389 make up 30% of my GBBA1.

ditto
I'm really not very happy that out of £700 I invested in GBBA1, the 3 largest loans, as above, totalling c£200 are now suspended..I hope the PF is going to step up as promised in February

Looking at what I have in GBBA2, if I hit that button now I will dispose of everything that I wouldn't mind keeping there There are lots of people out there unhappy that they can't pick and choose what to sell from a packaged account. Not unique to AC.
