A question for those of you lucky enough to be classed as a HNW. Do any of you use margin loans with your broker to invest in P2P? It's perhaps a cheap way to borrow given the return from P2P should more than cover the costs of the loan. Admittedly, high risk if the market tanks and your assets are sold!

firevlondon.com/2018/01/07/two-years-of-the-margin-loan/Doesn't answer your question, but this guy took out a margin loan against equities to fund a house purchase. I thought it was interesting - arguably diversified P2P secured loans should be less of a roller-coaster than equities, and perhaps more suitable as security for a margin loan (i.e. less likely to result in a margin call). But what do I know - I certainly aint HNW!
