Fairly typical on B+ loans and on lower end B loans, typically it is a case of the loan not filling by the cut-off date.

Usually you bid on a loan that didn't get filled close enough to full. Less often the borrower appears to fail security checks or picks a different place to borrow from.

I feel very sorry for the would be borrowers. I see in the Spanish Bondora forum that they are thoroughly confused by the system and they cannot phone for assistance as apparently Bondora have ceased phone support because of the high level of demand. Their loan applications are unfunded because they are self certified and they don't know what they need to do to succeed.
I do hope Bondora gets on top of the present situation very quickly.

Being in the UK, the site won't let me see the loan application form, but it would be interesting to know what choices borrowers are given and the associated costs of going down different routes which would give some reasoning other than the fact that borrowers want to conceal something for them choosing the self certified route which leads to high rates and the potential that the loan wont be filled.
