I don't know about you, but 2017 was an awful year personally, for a number of reasons. Quite frankly it sucked. So I'm looking for a few brighter points to illuminate the memories of the year.... Hence doing this again.
For the last couple of years, I've run the 'unofficial P2P awards' and plan on doing the third annual set in February. Whilst there are no red carpets and no orchestral interruptions, there are also no physical prizes. Merely the self satisfaction of being acknowledged in one way or another.
Continuing from last year, I'm looking to have nominations for a number of these awards and am looking for your help for them. The categories are:
To enter your nominations, please message me and let me know. It's as simple as that. You can enter a nomination for 1 category or 2 or 3 or all 4. Any suggestions in this thread, whilst welcome, will NOT count towards nominations. Nominations formally close on the 29th of January. From those, the top 3-6 in each category will be selected to be voted on for the actual winners. That will take place in February (dates TBC). In the unlikely event of ties etc, the organisers (i.e. me!) reserve the right to select the finalists but will endevour to do so in as fair a way as possible.
Good luck to all!

- Best post - Simply link to the post which you think has been the best in 2017. To be eligible it needs to be made between 1st Jan and 31st Dec 2017. Posts from admins, mods, members and platform reps are all valid. It could be great due diligence, input on finances, update on a loan or simply an hilarious joke.
- Best forum member - Simply provide the name of the person who you feel has added the most to this form between 1st Jan and 31st Dec 2017. This could be a forum member, mod or admin. Platform reps cannot be considered for this award. This could be due to their friendliness, helpfulness, detailed analysis, sense of humour or any reason you like.
- Best platform rep - Simply provide the name of the rep who you feel has added the most to this form between 1st Jan and 31st Dec 2017. Only platform reps (with appropriate 'flash') are eligible. This could be due to them explaining issues on their platform, their responsiveness, their helpfulness in addressing issues, or whatever you want.
- Best thread - New for 2018 - Simply link to the thread which you think was the most useful, interesting, thought provoking, informative or valuable in 2017. The thread needs to have been started in 2017 to be eligible.
