(search on street name C******* B*** from pg 1 of VR, select page 2 of the results, select the final entry on page 2, then switch to the planning applications tab. "Withdrawn" usually means they have been quietly told by the planning officer that the application would be refused in its current state.

FS do not have a clue what is happening around them
I have to say their management are useless and are way way out of their depth
I foresee a collapse of this platform in the not too distant future

FS seem to measure their success by their turnover and not much else. Using that metric they are very successful and regardless of how well their loans perform, since they don't lend any money, I don't see how they are going to collapse? I am now very wary of all their loans. There is the occasional nugget but IMO this is not a platform to diversify on. This is a platform to either ignore or find those nuggets using your own and other's DD and invest in those only. Is this the Ebay of p2p loan platforms?

Regards FundingSecure Rather than say it like that, why not just admit that you were incorrect in stating that revised planning has been submitted in the first place, as opposed to making it sound as if we were concerned over nothing. You initially said "The client has submitted two planning applications" and now the story is "The borrower has therefore withdrawn the previous application which will be replaced with a modified planning application". That is a very material difference IMV, not just a minor clarification. I'd respect the platform an awful lot more if that was acknowledged rather than brushed over.

The timescales given in the update make no sense to me. Submitting a new planning application (rather than amending the existing one) restarts the whole planning process and means a new public consultation period is required. I cannot see how a new application, not yet even registered, can possibly be expected to be approved in 4-5 weeks.

FS please name any authority in the UK which grants Planning permission in 5 weeks. What really annoys me is that FS seem to think investors have the IQ of a gnat or that we are totally gullible.

Why would FS (or many other platforms) think any different when just about everything gets fully funded.
Just browse through some of the updates on the (many) overdue loans.
