The original thread was started by Becky on 30/Oct/2013. The promise of a release was last slipped to 'early next year' by calewis on17/Dec, after claudiu had promised it for 'next week' on 27/Nov. Claudiu/calewis appear to have been re-educated or purged or whatever. Only Becky is still talking..
Aiui the iPad app is built on top of the api, so an api release really just requires some docs and maybe a testbed environment. One can only conclude (as I did long ago) that fc, &/or their bigger bot players, really don't want us to have it... Might make it easy for anyone to autobid .. Or maybe they're worried a rogue api user could spoil their impressive website performance (cue mindless giggling).
