This may be good news but then again it may not. On other P2P platforms when institutional investors have become involved it's often had a detrimental effect on the private investor and no, I'm not going to name names. The platforms concerned have always insisted this is not the case but if I was an institutional investor I would expect cherry picking and certainly zero or very little cash drag. We will see.

I interpret this as investment in Bondmason itself, not in the loans it offers. So that would be good news, methinks!
