Is anyone else having problems with the Opera internet browser?
It was working fine earlier and then started playing up around lunchtime.
If I log into proboards.com I can see my Forum Dashbord OK. If I click on a link on the dashboard I get a "banned" message.
If I log on using the internet browser that was already installed, I get through without a problem.
Opera came recommended because of the amount of public wifi and mobile data I use. I'm told it is much quicker and, importantly, much safer on a public internet?

I've just updated mine and it appears to be functioning normally. Version: 51.0.2830.26 Update stream: Stable System: Windows 8.1 64-bit

Are you using a VPN, or the internal Opera VPN by any chance? Sometimes proboards no likey.

Maybe, if it's built in I guess so, although I can log on to proboards.com OK from either internet browser.

Thank you for that.
Not on Three, but giffgaff (which is someone else, but forget who) and it happens with Opera when on their (giffgaff's) network and on the hotel or office wifi, so for now I'm using the other browser. (And that's fine on wifi but does seem to increase the data used chart more quickly when using giffgaff.)
Not too sure what it all means, but clicking on the link in that thread tells me that I have a public address and gives a load of numbers.
I'm back home from tomorrow evening so will ask the house geek to take a look and see if everything is up to date and as it should be.
