My contact with them went unanswered for well over a week and I would consider that very poor. I hate the phone and choose to use emails - and if SS can't cope with emails/home page e-contact form it needs to say so. Or put on website that 'Many staff are on holiday this week so please bear with us".
However more positively I thought it time to test SS to make sure the recent glitches weren't a sign of something more sinister - my £100 withdrawal was credited into my account quickly so i shall keep increasing my balance in SS.

I sold a few bits and requested a withdrawal to my bank on Friday afternoon. The amount was around £1,000. It was credited back to my bank account the next day (Sat). So very happy with that.

As a new lender on SS my withdrawel was paid within 2 hours(10pm) and a rogue deficit was sorted straight away by email, they must have missed the payment. So happy with the service so far. £100 minimum is too high as I wanted to deposit £50 and I had £50 already in my a/c. So I had to withdraw £50 and deposit £100 creating work for SS. On the security issue, this needs clarifying and beeping up where necessary. Until then my SS funds will remain low.

The system could not reconcile this deposit as the Auto-Deposit value and the BACS transferred values were different. Could all investors please ensure the values of auto-deposits and follow up BACS transfers match in order to avoid reconciliation delays. We apologise for the delay in resolving this issue! My apologies for the delayed response -- I've been away and hadn't seen this until now. Does this mean that if I do an Auto-Deposit in the morning, and then another one that afternoon, that I can't settle them both with a single BACS transfer? If so, are there any plans in hand to make this possible in the future? And further to other later messages in this thread... If I make an Auto-Deposit in the morning, and sell some loan parts in the afternoon to raise the necessary funds, do I have to send an email to savingstream to ask them to settle the A-D from my available funds because it won't happen automatically?
