No, it would only be cash in your account that would be lost. The money out on loan isn't cash, it's an loan that is secured by an asset. That money is "safe" as long as no fraud has been committed. Presumably funds that have been invested into loans that hadn't drawn down yet would also be lost - such as the latest Bolton 2% cashback tranches. Can anyone remember if the Chesterfield loan had drawn down? I have quite a lot in this one.

Apart from the email this morning I can't read the writing in the dark blue box unless I go over and highlight the dark grey writing.
This writing has now been changed to light blue. So I also didn't notice the change in statue before now.
I still think that this whole FCA thing might be the key to the whole problem here and the Authories MAY have stepped in already.
I also want to confirm I made a withdrawal on the 26th and it was as seemless as usual.

Did everyone get an email at 8:44am this morning saying an update is being prepared and will be emailed to all lenders later today? If so, have i missed the next e-mail or was it not sent? I think i know the answer but just want to be sure I didn't receive the email either, and it's not in my spam folder.

Mod Hat On/ I'm locking this thread for a brief period as a new thread "In Administration" has been created here. I'VE MOVED FOUR PAGES OF POSTS TO THE 'NEW' THREAD - HOPE YOU CAN ALL FIND THEM 10 mins later and it's up to 5 pages so hopefully you can all post where appropriate now so I'll unlock this.

I am not an expert in these matters, my browser says it's blocked as the certificate has expired I use Safari. It says: "this website may be impersonating "collateraluk.com" to steal your personal and financial information. You should go back to the previous page." I'm sure it doesn't, but the message sounds horrific

I've got this message trying to access the page You can add an exception to your browser although nothing new there apart from the old '....upgrading our servers....' message.

I'm sure it doesn't, but the message sounds horrific It's an expired HTTP Strict Transport Security. The certificate has expired so many browsers warn you of the worst and rightly so. In this case it's just an expired certificate and no one is trying to steal anything. It's the old upgrading our servers nonsense.

To be pedantic its Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure but other than that this is correct. Nothing has changed other than time moving forward thus expiring their existing certificate. That said, it probably is wise to comply with the warnings from your browser and not try to view the content not least because you might get into the habit of overriding the warnings and that could be pretty risky long term.

I have no problem overriding an 'expired yesterday' warning. Others are potentially a bigger issue. Expired certificate does indicate a certain laxness, but in this case you can understand it. I wonder if the administrator will bother to renew it.

I wonder if the administrator will bother to renew it. The cost to renew is peanuts - well okay, a few pennies. It wouldn't surprise me either way as I doubt if they are interested in investor relations so they can check their personal loan portfolios. But then again......
