Hi All, We're all aware that Collateral website is down since yesterday morning and they're not answering phone and we don't know what has happened. I'm also aware of the other group with 15 pages of posts (at the moment) regarding this issue. However I suggest a new group where we can organize actions rather than trying to guess what is happening or what has happened (IT meltdown, ... I honestly don't care!). Let assume the worst here and take action.

1. Please as many people as possible call 0300 123 2040 (Action Fraud) and report. It will take a bit of time but hopefully worth it. 2. Alternatively you can www.actionfraud.police.uk/report_fraud to report it online (also a lengthy process)

Are they just buying some time? I suggest we continue with reporting this and taking actions

If this was a technical problem, or even if they have gone belly up there should have been a statement by now. This does not look good at all and action is needed now!!!!

I doubt that a couple of hours will make any great impact - I'll wait until the promised email update appears and see what it contains.

I can only repeat the advice given to me when seeking guidance about what had occurred (site down, lack of communication or updates) via their on-line chat; "I would advise reporting this to us, you can report this using our online reporting tool at: www.actionfraud.police.uk/report-fraud-about-you " Or call: 0300 123 2040 Never fire someone else's bullet... Why don't you too use their online chat system and just express your concerns, if you have any (on what could have any number of explanations, many innocent)? I followed the advice given, "I would advise reporting this to us.. “. If it is innocent, you have the option to update "your situation". Then we can all laugh and enjoy a red wine.

What have you done with your actionfraud.police.uk report? At this point I am not sure if it is worth continuing with it or just withdrawn it? I have tried to cancel my but now that machine is in motion it seems impossible?

Now the FCA has released a public statement stating it has intervened and will be handling things, you'd think that would be the end of any police investigation.

IT is natural to feel anxious when we don't know what is happening but if you have any experience of real scams...as we do, you will have more faith in this situation especially having read the Court report where thenFCa s actions are questionable , involving so many y uncor ordinated departments. Plus the fact that the next Court action is taking place outside London means it will get a fair hearing. My advice...as one who has mustered groups and taken legal action before, is to do nothing other than....if you are motivated , to complain directly To the FCA for their muddled actions into what was a well run company and about whom they knew and were In discussion with the previous year. I called the complaints helpline and lodged a formal complaint and it is being dealt with .imtook issuemwith the fact that if the new liquidators are involved it will doubtless cause us to lose money. Next time I come back as a Liquidator....!

This is the second time you have mentioned this, please give a link to it, if it exists, if it is just the leaked, discredited, RR report please stop misquoting it as a court report!
