Good grief if I 'get my capital back and even a little interest' I'll be doing naked cartwheels and devoting my life to the church. I think you may need to adjust your expectations of where this clusterf**k is going. Just for my curiosity, would they be two separate forms of activity, or is their an 'interesting religion' I am unaware about? I think it may be a reference to St Catherine of Alexandria, the inspiration for the famous rotary firework. A messy business, best not repeated, even for penalty interest.

Sadly I have to agree with you. I'm normally a glass half-full person but currently I'm struggling to convince myself that the bottom of this glass is even damp. I'm not filled with confidence either, who would be given the progress so far, but when I see posts from COL lenders already conceding a massive hit to their capital it winds me up. COL lenders are being screwed, by the Chuckle brothers, by the FCA, by RR and now by BDO. I'd rather see posts like ozboy and other similar posts showing some fight that the outcome of this debacle will not be accepted by passive lenders but will be challenged every step of the way and errors made by those involved will be fully aired for all to see.

Perhaps now would be a good time for FCA and P2P
companies to just reassure lenders that those saying the are registered are actually registered FULLY. Well I'm still optimistic that we'll get the majority of our money back after all there can't be too many creditors other than the usual! Staff, utilities, office rent etc. Plus the court will be watching BDO's costs don't get out of control. Glass still 3/4 full.  For the record 16+k invested

how anybody can have any confidence after reading all the website data has been "lost" eludes me
im not saying any off the relevant bodies are incompetent, but if there's no data then how do you sort out this unholy mess ?
as for glass half full/empty, irrelevant <moderated>

BDO said it has managed to extract information on investors and their total loan exposure but said Collateral’s IT platform had been decommissioned prior to its appointment so it does not have sufficient detail to extract an analysis of each investor’s investments into specific loans or tranches of loans.

To celebrate the start of the world cup, I will be posting in football terminology...... The game is 20 minutes old, and we have not had a kick of the ball yet, and are being played off the pitch. However the score is still 0 - 0 and we are still very much in the game. Might even be able to go on the attack at some point. The crowd is very noisy considering.
