Hmm, I think it ought be illegal for any ISP to block your email (any of it) without you request or at least agree .. just like it's illegal for the PO/postman to censor your incoming snail mail. I can't see that ABL can be generating enough emails to trip anything, but maybe their bulk sender has overstepped some mark or other. Actually we use them so that we have a fixed IP and we are not in 'bad neighborhood', as well as reporting and scoring etc- They provide 'active outreach' to ISP's for customers like us who send transactional emails.... but you can't win them all apparently.. I am looking at you BT, Blueyonder and (occasionally) Virgin.

I never asked BT to filter my emails, and so it should have been set off, for me to turn on. Not only do they block the emails they decide are spam, they also delete them without any trace or record. In my case they secretly decided in November 2016 that they would deliver no more messages from Ablrate's email handler, and would just delete them. So I thought it was Ablrate, and Ablrate said the messages were being delivered - though in this case they were dumped somewhere.

Does the email problem occur just with BT email addresses, or if BT is the broadband provider and the email address is independent?

Does the email problem occur just with BT email addresses, or if BT is the broadband provider and the email address is independent? This problem is specifically BT as an ISP providing an email address. Nothing to do with the link/broadband supplier. But it applies to any POP email client - such as Outlook. If you have a BT email address and think you are missing messages, not just Ablrate, this is likely to be the problem.

Is it just me, or is the Abl website glacial this evening? Half of the pages i'm trying to open time-out with an error message whilst some open up instantly. In particular, I'm having trouble trying to open any SM pages and just get an 'unexpected error' message under a picture of a smashed up car!

I'm having the same problem now, especialy when trying to access the SM through 'current investments/trade' Edit: It seems I can get to the secondary market now but when I click a 'Trade' button it times out and I get the car crash error.

It just took me a couple of minutes to log in (screen kept hanging, but eventually login after sitting on the page several minutes), but now I'm logged on everything is loading up quick.

The problem comes and goes. It just took about 70 seconds to refresh the SM page. Selecting various different pages takes anything between 10 and 70 seconds and occasionally crashes the car. This is a lot slower than normal and has been occurring for quite a few days now.
