"We have now heard back on the swiss transaction. The meeting held on July 28th, which was the prerequisite to release the funds, went ahead. However, not all formalities were concluded. The meeting is being reconvened for tomorrow July 31."

Come on Scrooge you know fc moves South for the holidays. Meetings in a souk in N Africa. Article recently in helpers gazzette with unions making firm commitments to action but ensuring Children wont be dissapointed. Note to self. Stop posting when morphine kicks in and the little peeps are dancing on the shelf.

Update this morning: "The July 31st meeting concluded with all paperwork complete. We are waiting for confirmation from the bank that funds have been released"

Ahhhh yes.....Perhaps this is the same wise old man who has advised fs of these little pearlers...... 01/04/2017 - ...............The intermediary acting for the borrower has arrived back in the UK and was advised that no further information was required and that the "funds should be sent between 2 days and one week". 11/04/2017 - We have been advised that the transaction is due to pay out by Thursday of this week or, worst case, Tuesday of the following week.......... 24/04/2017 - We have been advised that the intermediary is due a final due diligence call on Tuesday this week following which funds will be released.......... 15/05/2017 - We have been advised that the payment is to be made this week. 17/05/2017 - ...............As of end of day today, the intermediary has received confirmation that payment has been approved 27/05/2017 - We have been advised that the intermediary has now received funds.......... 28/06/2017 - We have been advised by the intermediary that funds are still waiting in.......... 04/07/2017 - ..........We have been given a firm date for release of funds

I've just checked and the magic money tree is still missing:

Were they not completed months ago? Are we to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of FS's garden? They obviously do given that they keep swallowing this nonsense rather than just foreclosing.

If it renews at a better LTV say a new loan for £800k and with the prospect of more entertaining tales of pending funds transfers from around the world, I may even roll over.
