When the April cashback was running I put in bids for Red**** and Aber*******, which were subsequently reverted to pre-bid status. Since there was no indication of when these would draw down, I used the money that was lying idle in my account to bid for / buy other units. As a result, I now have bids for £20-odd on each, rather than the 3 * £100 which I had hoped for.
In the future, can pre-bidders have email notification in time to be able to transfer funds across by normal "faster payments" in cases where loans which have been reverted to pre-bid are about to go live? It's probably not necessary in the normal pre-bid scenario, but in these cases punters can't be expected to check daily for 3 months for updates on the individual loans - especially when there are so many false dawns.
I only got wind of the Red**** situation from comments posted on this board by other investors. I put in a transfer from my bank immediately, but apparently to no avail; my pre-bids no longer stand.

I agree it would be a good idea to send an email for those postponed loans a couple of days before.
I am in the same situation, having lost prebids as no free funds at the time it went live. I did think prebids would kick in when funding arrived (in my case a few hours after auction opened). But perhaps I am mis-remembering how it operated.
It was stated in April that cashback would be paid on the loans (including r*dr*th, auction 88) whenever they drawdown by andrewholgate. So presumably any investment now will still get this. However given so much time has passed it would be useful if andrewholgate could state if R*dr*th will still attract the April cashback or not.

Prebids used to convert when funds arrived but with the advent of AI that behaviour was superseded and prebids now do not continue to check for funds after that first attempt to convert them. Redruth still qualifies although I'd need andrewholgate to confirm whether it's bids that make it into the auction now or bids placed at the time. Notifications for prebids is resolved in the new platform.

IN EDIT It was of course these loans that highlighted the issue in the first place. Which you fixed by having the system ignore pre-bids in loans that didn't have dates AIUI

We can't tell which were cancelled for that reason or for other reasons so not much we could do automatically. In edit: correct

I am hoping bids placed now are included as I lost my prebids since no money in account at the point it went live.

It's stated in the Q&A section somewhere that it will be the original bidders who get the compensation.

It's stated in the Q&A section somewhere that it will be the original bidders who get the compensation. I cannot see anything. My question is about the April cashback scheme specifically There is a question asked On 1st Jul 2014 at 14:30 about the compensation due for delayed drawdown. Might it be this you have seen ? or am I just going blind.
EDIT just spotted this under recent activity "Lender Cashback Further to our Drawdown Update dated 16/06/2014 we can confirm that lenders who bid on the original loan will have a payment equivalent to 3% per annum covering 4 weeks credited to their accounts on drawdown. "
Which I am guessing what spockie was referring too. But still doesn't answer the question regarding the april cash back scheme
