Hello Forumites, Jordan from Orca here. Some of you may know us as research providers on the market - to those who subscribed to our service, we are grateful and hope the service has been of value. We have recently soft launched our own investment product; a diversified portfolio of P2P platforms. Now that we are a few weeks in, we are offering investors a £100 bonus if they invest £1,000 or more before the end of 27th March. The bonus will be redeemed on the 1-year anniversary of the deposit being made and invested into your portfolio. Bonus Ts&Cs
If you are not familiar with our newly launched solution, here are some soundbites: - 5% indicative return (net of Orca's 0.65% fee)
- Transparent portfolio construction (see who you are investing across)
- Diversification across multiple P2P lending platforms
- Exposure to consumer-lending, business-lending, property-lending
- Personal Orca dashboard to monitor portfolio performance
- Data collection and all platform communications retrieved by Orca
- Funds held in segregated client account
Our solution is designed to achieve superior levels of diversification without the hassle of building and executing a portfolio yourself.
We have always been big fans of the P2PIndependent and will remain actively engaged. If you have any questions or comments, we welcome them and will respond as quickly as possible.
Thanks, Jordan, Co-Founder

Hi Jordan,
I'm fully committed to Zopa I'm afraid and I need some fun in this so will not be investing in your wrapper product. I wish you luck though.
I would have though your announcement here might have generated a bit more traffic though.

Do you have any plans to diversify in the next tax-year? Keen to know more about investor behaviours - this forum gives away a lot - but always good to hear from the horse's mouth

Hi Jordan, I'm fully committed to Zopa I'm afraid and I need some fun in this so will not be investing in your wrapper product. I wish you luck though. I would have though your announcement here might have generated a bit more traffic though. Hi aju No problem at all! I appreciate the kind words. Are you solely with Zopa? Going well? Do you have any plans to diversify in the next tax-year? Keen to know more about investor behaviours - this forum gives away a lot - but always good to hear from the horse's mouth In the P2P world I am only with Zopa - have been since the early days that old early adopter fee does help in the more shakey times. Have been through the previous bad 2007/08 period but the last couple of months have been a bit hard from a default perspective. Still in the black though and confident that things will settle when the maturity of recent ISA funding settles into a longer stride so to speak. Well I have mine and Mrs Aju's fingers crossed so that should help too! No Plans to diversify across platforms, still getting used to diversification on Zopa - I have always felt its 1% (2% in the past) level is problematic and try to keep investments to a £10 per loan level as I am not comfortable with £50 lending that's not SG covered anymore. It takes longer and more controlled lending but I think its better. You get more defaults but they are lower values and more manageable. Sadly the announcement did generate some traffic on one of the other threads, I put in what I thought was general comments regarding both my confusion with the new offer and the older ORCA service and got my head bit off a bit for something I didn't say by apparently the Lead Developer who seemed to be a bit defensive and smarting a little so I don't feel too happy helping people who wrongly accuse me of things just because I say what I feel - to be fair I think he was smarting over someone elses comments and he mistakenly grouped his response to vent perhaps at me but if I'm honest he shouldn't be commenting as a lead developer who should know better to take a bit of criticism on the chin and not vent it in a public forum. I personally was a lead systems designer in a large company and the last thing I would have done is react the way he/she seems to have done over there but hey each to his own I guess. As I said in my response above though I probably wouldn't really be in the game of paying someone else to do what I feel I can do myself at this time.I'm retired now and have all the time ion the world one needs a bit of fun and areason to break out the spreadsheets now I no longer have access to Oracle and the bigger players I used to frequent daily in days gone past. I pay myself for doing it rather than losing part of my investment on a fee, that's what I tell Mrs Aju ;-)
