Hi Guys,
We would like to create a section where we can listen to any of the concerns or niggles you might have when using the UOWN site. Big or small it’s all important to us. Our hope is that through a feedback loop we can improve the UOWN platform consistently.
What happens when you post feedback?
We will look at it, discuss it with you to find out more, see what changes we need to implement it on the UOWN platform, develop the solution and finally deploy it onto the live site.
We have been improving the UOWN platform almost every single month since launch. As many of you will have seen there has been functionality added regularly, and we want to continue with a community led approach to bring you all a great tool for investing into the property market.
Feel free to post any suggestions or discussions here, our hope is that this thread becomes an evergreen part of this section of the forum that people can keep coming to and keep providing feedback.
Best,

Loving the new look site, a lot more professional looking and dropping the 'us vs them' rhetoric i think is a smart move. I'm still monitoring volumes at the moment before i decide to dip in, but i'm still very much interested.

Now just 5.5% left of Stanmore Street. Last chance to lock into 9% rental returns for now*. It's been a long haul...
*and hopefully some property value appreciation too.

I wouldn't hold your breath kaya , it's hardly moved for ages. From memory it's been under 6% available for at least a month. This isn't really a problem though, as the 9% dividend is being paid from the day you invest, so don't have to wait for it to be fully funded. Seems a very good deal to me, can't see what's putting people off. Perhaps it's a liquidity issue.

One thing that put me off making a very small further nibble recently was that when I came to try and reinvest last month's rent (on the new site) it wouldn't work and kept telling me I hadn't selected a property to buy. After numerous attempts and an email to UOWN which went unanswered I decided to make my first ever withdrawal from the platform.

Couldn't manage it last month as it was less than the minimum allowed (£20 I think). I've also had emails to uown that went unanswered. Come on uown , you need to up your game in this regard.

I'm generally a supporter of UOWN, have always been able to reinvest my rent in the past (on the old site), and have usually had prompt replies to emails, so I'm not going to suddenly turn against them on the strength of this one incident. Assuming I can manage to reinvest the rent next month everything will be back to normal, plus I now know that the withdrawal process works fine. However, as Ace says, they need to make sure they keep on top of things.

Uown finally replied today to the questions I asked via their contact form several weeks ago. They apologised, saying that they have had problems with their contact form. The response was helpful, so I'll be sending any dividends to the Stanmore Street loan. Now only 4.2% left.

uown New site looks good but one thing that seems to be missing is available cash balance. Would have thought this should be displayed on dashboard somewhere rather than hidden in a drop down. It also isnt visible if you click on invest which is even more odd. Perhaps inset it beneath the account name in top band so it is always visible?
Would also be nice to have the rental yield showing on my properties on the dashboard
Sorting of the statement for each property isnt right. Its showing ordered by month not year ,so 10/18 is followed by 10/17 not 9/18 and clicking the arrow to change order makes it even more random.
Transaction statements dont show fees for purchases and would be better if they provided a running balance of the cash account.
