Looks like users of Bondora may have been hit by a sequence of suspicious e-mails, culminating in a request to send ID documents.
This is ongoing at the time of this post with Bondora Support e-mailed by 1 person at least, but no response yet.
Be aware.

I have received the emails, and not acted on them, but if it is a scam then it looks like Bondora's mailchimp account may have been hacked since the dubious emails appear to come from domains registered to mailchimp which Bondora use for sending out newsletters and announcement emails and which would also explain how Bondora's email list got out. The statements.com domain registration is hidden due to the use of perfect privacy which is always a red flag.

Correction received from Bondora - just another example proving that given the choice between conspiracy and cock-up, choose the latter every time.
Now look for the blood seeping under the door of HQ . . . .

Well a correction email has now been sent, however there is no way I am sending copies of the requested documents on an insecure email. When the time comes they will be sent using a more secure method.

Partel has confirmed that these documents can wait until they have a secure upload system available in a few weeks, unless you want to withdraw money now.

Is it just me, or has the spam-levels from Bondora gone up and up recently. I think my profile is picking up about 3-4 loans per week, but I am getting 3-4 emails per day!
My confidence levels in Bondora edge ever lower.

Some of it you can unsubscribe from, mail filters work well enough for me for the rest.
It is good to see that Bondora has recently been doing work on ID and money laundering checks and that they seem to have decided to bear the losses from the 80+ cases they have identified and cancel the loans.

Yes credit where it is due. Good to see a downloadable file available which made sorting out my records far less painful than it could have been. Now if a file could be made available for rescheduled loans ........
