Have Lendy been asking random people in the pub to post positive Trustpilot reviews in exchange for a drink?? Looks like drunks or bots have been posting a lot of good reviews in the past 24 hours!! Its probably Liz. Oh sorry, she's called 'I love lendy - ill' now Clever Lendy. Rings 4000 members, 2000 give positive feedbank and are asked to support them with a Trustpilot review. The other 2000 aren't asked to comment on Trustpilot. Either that or Lendy are now getting everything right and the 200 negative on here are outweighed by the 20000 positive members that are still supporting and lending on the fabulous Lendy platform, with its wonderful new products to come, £38 million earned, no losses, that of course will benefit all members.

Being selective about who you ask to leave a trustpilot review is not an uncommon exercise. The same trick is played with businesses on tripadvisor, and I've heard of companies strongarming employees to leave positive feedback on glassdoor.
All this balances out with disgruntled customers who leave overtly negative (or often false) comments in the hope that this gets the company to give some kind of compensation. I used to have an involvement in a restaurant and the amount of b**ls**t posted in the attempt to get a free meal was eyewatering.
This is why I tend to gravitate towards reading the 3 star reviews - usually there's a reason behind someone posting a so-so review. However, all these experiences have made me somewhat cynical about review sites. I wonder how many people rely on these as part of their investment decisions?

Having got no response from the phone call they claim to have made, nor any reply to their follow up email, I have had a further email today inviting me to submit a Trustpilot review..
"Thank you for investing with Lendy - The Property Platform.
To improve the satisfaction of our customers, we have partnered with the online review community, Trustpilot, to collect reviews.
Click here to review us on Trustpilot"
I'm not too sure how doing that would improve customer satisfaction. Good reviews get a smug 'Thank you <insert name>.' Bad ones get an argument and a reminder of the risk warning. It makes them sound perfectly happy with themselves, nothing to fix there.

I've been investing via SS/Ly for several years now. As platform performance has deteriorated, I've been critical both publicly (on this platform) and privately (e-mails into Ly support and 'the phone call'). During this time, I've never been invited to leave a review on Trust Pilot.
A funny thing happened this week. I changed SIPP provider which resulted in Ly opening a new account for me. Within minutes of the receiving the 'new member' e-mail, I received an invitation to rate Ly on Trust Pilot.
