I got a £60 bid in then another £60 bid in - there's big fat £10k bids in there - maybe those big fat bids mean't there was only space for small bids to go through to fill the small gap.

Gold Club members pre bids were limited to 35% of their bids thanks to the pro active response of Chris, Andrew and all at AC. The problem with this loan was the built up unsatisfied demand from earlier loans and the small loan size. I am sure with AC growing at this rate, many more opportunities will be available for lenders.

No idea what happened there. It looked like AC had throttled pre bidding to 52% of the total. I refreshed at almost bang on 11, added a bid value, pressed the key and it gave me a page error. I think because it was already full. How did the rest manage to bid @ band on 11:00 when the ability to even load a bid ready to press isn't there until the start. I guess the 3 seconds I dithered 'cos of a mis type did for me. Compared with the date and time on the system I am using the AC servers appear to be a few seconds fast so I refreshed early, plus I can touch type on my numeric keypad so just managed to get a bid in.

The servers are using NTP so should be within a second or so of the true time. Just double checked and the servers are all exact same time and are within a second of my laptop and phone. So I would be surprised if the servers were too far out.
In this instance there were 37 separate bids over a 34 second period by 36 separate lenders. Amazingly one fast fingered bidder managed to get two bids in within 13 seconds of each other.

I made a small bid on the latest loan just after it opened. It shows up in my accepted bids section, and on the overview section, but it doesn't seem to be in the Main bid tab of the auction.

You should be at the bottom of page 2 as bid 11796 but another bid was made at the exact same time and it seems to have thrown the paging out so that it's showing 11795 twice (once at the end of page 2, once at the end of page 3). I'll get someone to fix that. Thanks for pointing it out.

Its not just andy2001's bid, there is a whole lot of weirdness in the reporting of the bids from the moment the auction when live i.e. numbers out of sequence, some numbers missing and some numbers duplicated.

>>Amazingly one fast fingered bidder managed to get two bids in within 13 seconds of each other. That was me still in FC mode breaking up my bids! I used the World Clock website time.is/ laid out to one side of the Assetz one and I reckon the bid opened at two seconds to! Maybe that two second head start allowed to get my two modest bids through! As someone who has tried to get a bridging loan in the past and who can't understand why they are so expensive when there is so much equity backing up the bridge, i think given the appetite for these three bridging loans, AC, its lenders and borrowers could have found their Golden Lode....

Well one of these loans has just reached drawdown. Hallelujah! I've been dabbling here for nearly two months, and had built up a collection of Accepted Bids in eight loans that were awaiting drawdown. (The earliest of those completed funding on 25/Oct, which is nearly seven weeks ago.) So it's great to see one of them become a Loan Unit and start earning interest.

I'll take that on the chin. We do try and get loans drawn down ASAP. As I have said before, I can't account for third parties who can muddy the waters.
I should have more news on this soon though with some interesting developments.
