I've been busy downloading annual tax statements. Only time in the year when I actually print out anything from my P2P platforms.
This exercise tells a few stories about the platforms and here's some highlights.
MT have shown all their defaults even where there may well be a good recovery. Very useful for legitimately pushing tax back a year.
Lendy have not done anything of the sort.
ABL is in tiny faint print that remind me I am overdue an eye test. Their ISA statement is also identical to their standard one so hopefully they won't be reporting that income to HMRC.
W&Co - Prints out as blank paper so I've had to copy and paste into a Word document.
UB - Doesn't show my name or any account number. Could be anyone's.
P/Moose - Owning £10 stakes in a string of old miner's cottages in Durham and elsewhere results in a tax statement running to seven pages.
AC, LW, LI, Z, FC, FS all look reasonable.
RS - Not available yet
COLL - Who knows when.

AC are in the process of having their statements reviewed by Grant Thornton and if possible reviewed/signed off by hmrc and the fca. So I would be tempted to hold off using the current statement until the review is complete as there could be changes
