Anyone worried by this? I am slightly unsettled. Agreed - the reasons given don't tell us anything. Also other members of team have left recently. Maybe the main VCs/platform investors are worried re route to profitability. I am taking a few targetted capital gains.

Anyone worried by this? I am slightly unsettled. I’m unsettled as to why Dan has been ousted as CEO and is now just a board member. I won’t be investing until property partner clarify what the “next stage” is. I think they want to run a private REIT which I’m not really interested in.

Agree the recent changes are worrying and unsettling. The first of the targeted measures to improve profitability appears to be on the way imminently. I noticed this statement in the footer of an email I received from them last week: That means a couple of months earning only 2%, rather than the full dividend yield of up to 7.5% with the current system. Not good for investors The change doesn't appear well publicised yet, as I can't see anything on their website about it. The property currently open for funding still states "Investors will start accruing dividend income from the day they commit to investing in the property."

I saw the announcement and my initial thoughts were that the founder had taken it as far as he could or wanted to and the consensus was that a more experienced individual should take it to the next level. What they said basically. Seems quite normal, so i am surprised at the negative reaction here. Perhaps I am just being naive.

... consensus was that a more experienced individual should take it to the next level....i am surprised at the negative reaction here. I don't think that the reaction here is very negative. And your assumption might be correct, or the founder wanted to move to Ireland with his family and needed to find someone else to run it, or the VC is frustrated by the profitability or rate of growth and something must be done, or some other dispute in the way the business should be run. I wouldn't be surprised if there are changes and so like a couple of others I am pausing new investment, until I have a better idea which, if any, of the above it is and what the impact might be for investors.

Though I do have some concern over the platform's profitability. The last time I checked CH only their 2016 accounts were available and they were made something like a multi-million pound loss, though I suppose losses are to be expected with new companies chasing growth (just look at Tesla!). They grew a lot in 2017 in terms of assets they manage, so hopefully when those show up they paint a better picture.
