Loan originators will most of the times will be very profitable in a general market upswing in a business cycle, but if a financial crisis happens they will the first that will go bust, since their loans are about the same as US mortgage bonds in the last crisis - total you know... EDIT: About what he said in the video - he said revenue was 2+ million (didn't specify how much profit). Thats a huge leap, since in 2016, revenue was only 500k+.
