Through others experiences of anything nautical from pedalos to tea clippers, I'm particularly wary of sinking my hard earned into yet another offering (with another on Monday 16th). It seems 'her' realistic value has been dropping since 2008 and by the latest valuers own admission seems to be a hotpotch of conversion and adaptation which has left it in an unidentifiable class of her own but with some major refit and restoration still required to make her fit for 'purpose' (whatever that is) and more importantly to us lenders.."marketable". The latest VR (2016) also stresses that a complete examination of the structural has not been done and may (or may not) reveal other defects. As for an asset valuation of £75K he also noted that on the open market, as is..and with his recommendations in mind, the value for a quick sale might well be only £45K. Davy Jones locker anyone...Friday 13th...the omens couldn't be worse
