I've been "out" of FC for a while now, except of course for the rump of defaults and lates.
Gradually, one might say inexorably, the "lates" have been flipping over into the "defaults" category, and I've been forced to do nothing but watch from the sidelines as the occasional few pennies of part-payments or recoveries come trickling in.
But today, hooray, a "late" made a sufficiently on-time payment to become deemed as unrestricted by my friends at FC, so I sold that unloved little loan part as quickly as my mouse would let me.
A few minutes later it was gone, taken up by some unsuspecting mug investor who is now the proud possessor of this dodgy gem.
I'm very sorry, except that I'm not.

It’s why the fire and forget account was launched - to finish off the slime bags and spivs clever chaps who earned excess returns. May they practice their dark arts elsewhere!

You mean 'clever chaps' who used to choose their own loans instead of using autobid, hoping to do better than average? We are all slime bags are we? Charmed, I'm sure. I hope you have never bought a lottery ticket, hoping to get some of the other punters' money. You never switch your energy account, hoping to get a better deal that those on the standard variable tariff?

It's all water off a duck's back. Can't even spell slimy. Have a smily . Sorry, but have just spent an hour shouting at a cooking programme. It's not crispy, it's just crisp! The adjective is crisp; it doesn't need a 'y'. We chameleons are proud of our ability to change appearance, and to fool others into thinking we are something else. Making money here is what it's all about. If we were all philanthropists, p2p lending would not work at all. Pots and kettles.

If I didn't misspell at least one word, or mistake one creature for another, I wouldn't feel that I have achieved my objective for the day of giving someone something to roll their eyes at!
My boss still thinks I am an engineer because I misspelt it on my job application. Was a really bad day that day as I am a chef! CRISPY!

No, a crisp duck I think he said!
Ps. He misspelt Philanthropists!

I like to think he misspelled it deliberately, as an act of kindness to those of us less gifted in the English language.

No, you are too kind, VI. I made a mistake and did not notice. I am a crispy duck, I am a crispy duck, I am a crispy duck. (Perhaps a 'crispy' is rhyming slang, as in "I crispied that up")
