Looks great fun, but a 7% upfront fee feels steep. Glad they don't have an IFISA, because I think it could be a case of heart ruling head for me if they did.

OK, I have a very learned friend who is right in the midst/thick of Classics and Supercar dealings, and he doesn't know much about these "Clubs" so couldn't advise me. If I had a lockup garage I'd definitely invest direct and buy something and own it for myself, and you'd get to drive it Sundays for your Pub Roast & Pint.

... but a 7% upfront fee feels steep... and a 15% exit fee (of any profit).

If I had a lockup garage I'd definitely invest direct and buy something and own it for myself, and you'd get to drive it Sundays for your Pub Roast & Pint. I have a 1989 Porsche 911 3.2 Super Sport Coupe which I have used for the past 28 years as my preferred option day car, doing around 6,000 mls p a. As the value has increased & increased in the past 5 - 8 years I have just come to the decision that I cannot really afford to keep using it in that way but need to treat it as an investment & basically mothball, which I am doing from this summer onwards. On that basis Mrs H has agreed to my doing that & getting an F type in replacement. Win win !! 😁😁
