Ive Read that Hm Govt has suggested that Leases with large ground rents will be outlawed, and are 'consulting' on this premise. Why therefore are we continuing to see property developments attributing significant values to the freehold interest on the basis of significant, and rising ground rents ?
This proposal is worse as it seems to be suggesting that the freeholder will also take the parking places in breach of planning. It all likes a bit mad.

According to the particulars, we would be investing in a build which is already pre-sold, but almost one third of the loan term is designated to allow time for marketing.
Baffling. If the development is pre-sold, what is the marketing for?
