I notice there are no loans due to close Monday .. I.e. none listed last Monday (or were some listed with longer auction duration?). I think that's the first time I've seen 'look ahead' in scheduling. Not listing them on the holiday is usual, but not listing them to end on the holiday is not. Or does anyone know different?

Are you sure about that GSV? There seem to be loans closing on 25th. Or is today Saturday and I missed Friday - that does sometimes happen to me.

Me bad, I was indeed misplaced by a day, calculation-wise, and there are indeed some loans closing on Monday (I assume I at least got the fact it is a bank holiday right?!).
Not enough blood in the alcohol stream I guess. 8>.

Surprisingly - there are also loans being listed today. These look like Whole Loans - probably automatic listing if not taken up by Whole Loan funders (as I doubt FC are working today)

Discover bank holidays? Never! It's the day after a bank holiday and, oh, surprise, the overnight repayments have not run and we are processing, processing, processing. It's a tradition with FC, we need familiar, irrational traditions to make us safe and comfortable and to give us a sense of communal belonging. If FC just went through a bank holiday as if it was not there it would be as if Xmas had been cancelled.  Edit: For markr below, his Funky Chicken |
