Allowance has to be made for the stress of 'losing' your money. Good customer service will accommodate that, as Vee did in this case. It's easy to be dispassionate when it's not your money.

Well, 5pm came and went. I kind of like closure, but I suspect we wont see it.

There have been 10 transactions today for precisely £5k (no others within £100 of that either), and all were automatically matched to an account and credited. So either this has been resolved or the funds haven't been received by Barclays, but I don't have account details that would allow further investigation and I suspect the original poster has been discouraged from posting here for a while given the nature of some of the deleted posts. But looking at the bank feeds I can't see anything obviously indicating an error at our end. Hopefully it's resolved and it was just some confusion over the timing of payments being processed, which looking at today's timings seems to be at eight minutes past the hour currently.

We have fully reviewed this and there is full and accurate detail on the time it takes to deposit money shown on the relevant web page when depositing. We have found nothing to change and FPS transfers continue to happen typically in one hour during the working day at least. Using CHAPS is slower and more expensive for you in all likelihood too. I hope this helps and I would suggest ‘deposits going missing’ is not an accurate representation and would request the author amends the thread title please.

Hi stuartassetzcapital I agree that the thread title is misleading and inflammatory. I suspect that the OP might have been banned as she hasn't been online since the date that she started this thread so you might need to ask the mods to change the title of the thread or lock the thread and in time it'll dissapear.
