52 mins ago Borrower has been in contact and promised to arrange payment of interest on Monday June 25.18/06/2018 We were able to reach the borrower today. He is just checking the status of a completion and will be repaying the loan this week. 16/06/2018 We have been calling the borrower all week but have not been able to reach him. We will give it one more week before commencing default proceedings. 31/05/2018 We spoke with the borrower today. He expects to be in funds by Friday June 8 and has committed to repay the loan in full during the following week. 30/04/2018 We have been chasing the borrower to secure an update on this loan. As soon as we have some information, we will post an update. Is it me or is there a similarity between this flat and the Clitheroe one ?

Surely this is total twaddle - once the exchange is signed then very nasty things happen should completion not go ahead as per the exchange contract i.e. there is nothing to check as if completion had not gone ahead as planned the seller would have been immediately informed by his solicitor.
When will FS stop treating us all as total idiots - a lot of the staff look far too young to have bought a house but it may be a surprise to FS that a lot of forum members have bought one or more houses and were not born yesterday.

Photos taken Tue 4th Sept at 8pm as the light was failing. I didn't identify the exact address that contains the flat but it should be the 2nd or 3rd terraced unit in from the right of the first photo, and I think the photo from the rear corresponds. The location is on south side of a main road heading inland, 5 mins walk from the station / large Sainsbury's , 10 mins from the beach.

I though this one was due to be repaid - seems to have renewed with repayment due in December?
Not sure how old the advertising is but the selling price has been reduced to £80K which is higher than the FS valuation of £72K so an interesting one to watch but as of today nothing to worry about.

Just noticed that the loan has repaid balance of capital and some interest on 17 April 2020.

Considering the excellent Mrc DD and the latest accounts this is a relatively good result and much better than I was expecting so nice to hear some positive news.
As a matter of interest could you indicate roughly how much interest was repaid
I thank you - stay healthy.

5% went to FS. The interest is given as 2.4%. It is actually 4.3% but I presume is calculated over the 661 days of the loan.

Was this repaid via sale? I don't agree with the 5% fee being taken in any circumstance but especially so if the loan was repaid by the borrower and not via a sale, given the term they appear to be using specifically states the fee is from the "sale of the Asset".

That's a pretty good point. There are so many holes in the argument for the fee coming out of the lenders return I'm almost shocked they think it'll fly, and yet, it does seem to be flying, so what does that say about my opinion....

It was a payment in full and final settlement, so no sale. Funds received was £38,300. After everyone had their snouts in the trough the balance to investors was £25,024.
