and this is nothing like planning!.... (couldn't get the whole line in the title)
Zopa is off the air at the moment but apparently ... I think I missed that email but hey it is a planned upgrade, the ones I have received don't mention anything about these specific plans though or any timings. Perhaps I'm being unkind but to be honest I cannot see that if its planned then they should announce it as such. If it fixes the abysmal speed and the impromptu logouts then it's ok with me though.
I do agree with others comments across this forum that its unacceptable to have to expect this kind of thing during the Day, this should really be overnight stuff. Perhaps I am just unlucky in seeing all this stuff nearly everytime I try to log in. I am retired of course not sitting in an office keeping an eye on private stuff etc.
There is one plus I don;t have to try to login to see this message, thats an improvement I guess, perhaps eventually they will deem to give some prior notice. I can only assume that this was planned to happen as a result of unplanned mishaps in the previous updates.
For me only, this whole thing feels more like the experience on TSB, I know I keep saying this but its true for me that my experience of the TSB debacle is very similar, unexpected logouts, very slow pages etc etc

I'm getting the logouts a lot, also when I login in I have to enter all my details even though I've ticked the Remember Me box.
I had to speak to their customer services on Tuesday and mentioned this and got the answer that they were aware of the problem and were working on resolving it....

Having worked in IT for 25 years, before retiring 15 years ago, it is completely unacceptable to do planned maintenance or upgrades during the time when your users expect access. All of this work should be getting done overnight (or weekends).

I've just made a withdrawal without issue. However, the speed to load pages is slower than usual.

Yeah it's not easy to understand what they are fixing but for me its starting to feel a bit too sluggish and flakey but I'm all lent out for now, they've got another 2 months before Mrs Aju will have some funds to put in, hopefully it will have settled down then.

IT work has to be done in broad daylight in some sectors as they can't afford the salaries of in house expertise, nor the night work rates of contractors.
I'm intrigued by this experience. I'm not fussed by daytime work, more reliability of earnings where the relationship between interest rates and default rates is critical.
